Grenada’s Wallace Fountain, on loan to Alliance Française, is of the same vintage (1792) as the iconic ones in Paris.
The word ‘Tivoli’ means summer place. It seems everywhere I travel, I am connected with Grenada.
Each canvas references a place in Grenada named during the plantation era for and/or after a person or place in the UK – my contribution to the current chatter about reparations.
